Letter To The Editor: LAVNS Extends Huge Thanks

As President of the Board of Directors for Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service, I extend a huge THANK YOU to the Los Alamos community for its support of our Daffodils for Hospice 2015. 

We sold 2,300 bunches of daffodils (23,000 flowers!) and raised $16,000!

Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service is the only non-profit provider of home health care and hospice services in Los Alamos and the generous support of our donors has been a major factor in our ability to provide quality services for over 42 years. The Sanctuary at Canyon’s Edge, an inpatient hospice facility to be located at our beautiful Canyon Road property, reached a major milestone in obtaining site plan approval from the Planning & Zoning Commission last week.
