Los Alamos
Wednesday June 14, our ROMEOs lunch group (Retired Old Men Eating Out), ate at the new Los Alamos Cantina (in Central Park Square). It was wonderful; the food was excellent; the decor is warm, pleasant, and welcoming.
One of the wait staff is BELLA, a lady robot. She can carry 8 meals to your table, and she can sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY when asked. We’re pretty sure she’s the first robot waitress in Los Alamos.
La Cantina has the latest of digital menu, ordering, and paying hard- and soft-ware. It also has a full liquor license and a good menu of wines, beers, and spirits.
La Cantina is an excellent addition to our county’s restaurant community. Try it and judge for yourselves. ROMEOs is a small group, which meets and eats Wednesdays rotating around our local restaurants.
