The 10th Annual Clean Up Los Alamos Day held Saturday April 27 drew more than 500 participants who helped beautify the community and prepare for wildfire season.
Los Alamos County Environmental Services would first like to thank the other event sponsors that make this wonderful community event possible: Los Alamos National Bank, Los Alamos County Community Wildfire Protection, and Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Santa Fe.
This year we had around 500 participants. All the sponsors would like to thank the following groups for their participation: Bilingual Montessori School, Rotary Club of Los Alamos, Los Alamos County Green Team, Girl Scout Service Unit 22, Cub Scout Pack 222, Los Alamos Master Gardeners, Ponderosa Montessori, Pack 22, Dean Decker, Annette Shalles, Mountain Elementary School, Los Alamos Kiwanis Club, iCare Wednesdays, LA Chinese Christian Fellowship, Stan Kosiewicz, Starbucks in Los Alamos, Boy Scout Troop 222, LA Co-op Market, Our Lady of the Woods, Cub Scout Pack 27, Los Alamos Senior Center RSVP, Pajarito Environmental Education Center, the Perch Paperie, Merrick and Co., Daisy Scout Troop 10353, New Beginning Fellowship, Los Alamos Little League, White Rock Girl Scouts, Enviro Kids, the Kucko Family, Jacqueline McCormick and Tuff Riders.
