Your local Boy Scouts and Letter Carriers (NALC-4112) would like to thank the community for their generosity in supporting the LA Cares Food Bank and St. Martin de Porres Soup Kitchen with your donations of food and supplies during the Fall Community Food Drive Saturday, Nov 22.

We would also like to thank RE/MAX Realty, Knights of Columbus #3137, Smith’s Foods, Los Alamos Monitor, Los Alamos Daily Post, KRSN 1490, TRK Management, Retired and Senior Volunteers and Los Alamos County for providing resources for the food drive.

Additional donations of non-perishable food and personal care supplies to LA Cares are accepted year-round at the Aquatic Center and at Los Alamos County Social Services at 1505 15th St., during regular business hours. Monetary donations can be sent to: LA Cares, PO Box 248, Los Alamos, NM 87544

For food or financial assistance, or to volunteer to help with monthly food distributions, please call LA Cares and leave a message at 505.661.8015 (messages are checked daily).

Thank you for helping to battle hunger in our community and please mark your calendar for our Spring Food Drive that will take place May 9, 2015.
