ALBUQUERQUE — This Valentine’s Day, celebrate love, laughter, and the art of ballet with Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, performing at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14, at Popejoy Hall.

Known worldwide as “the Trocks”, the acclaimed all-male comic ballet company delivers an evening of equal parts technical brilliance and joyful parody.

Founded in 1974, Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo has earned international acclaim for its affectionate sendups of classical ballet, performed en pointe and en travesti (in drag) by an ensemble of exceptionally skilled male dancers. With a repertoire that includes beloved excerpts from Swan Lake and Paquita, the company blends meticulous classical techniques with impeccable comic timing.

Recent reviews highlight the troupe’s continued ability to blend slapstick, satire, and genuine artistry into performances that appeal to both devoted ballet enthusiasts and first-time attendees.
