Lenten Ecumenical Series Continues Thursday

The Lenten Ecumenical Series “For Such a Time as This …” will continue Thursday with Lisa Jo Bezner of First United Methodist Church of Los Alamos preaching “The Feast” on Esther 7: 1-4. 

Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church will be providing the music and officiating for the evening.

Adult classes this year will be Virtue and Vice in the Marvel Universe by Father Chris Adams Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church; The Four Acts of Prayer by the Rev. Russ Sorensen of Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church; Be Prepared! Preparedness in Many Ways facilitated by Dr. Bob Thomsen and Five Gifts of Grace by the Rev. Steve Trout of FUMC. Children and Youth are invited to The Book of Esther.

This annual series begins at 6 p.m. with soup and bread dinner provided by The United Church, which is followed by classes at 6:40 p.m. and worship at 7:30 p.m. Childcare is provided for children under 5 years of age. 

The series takes place at FUMC, 715 Diamond Dr.
