Lensic & Ron Bloomberg Present Vaudeville 2 Aug. 3

LPAC News:

SANTA FE The Lensic and Ron Bloomberg present “Vaudeville 2,” the second-annual salute to The Lensic’s early days as a 1930s vaudeville venue Saturday, Aug. 3.

Created by veteran comedy and television writer Ron Bloomberg, this high-energy variety show features hilarious and talented Santa Fe artists performing comedy, music, dance, circus-style contortion, and more.

The “Vaudeville 2” cast features Leslie Livingston, Joel Aalberts, Ron Bloomberg, Ty Cooper, Dadu, Alisha Hall, Patrick MacDonald, Liam Merkle, Richard Peters, Pamela Post, and Christine Marie Smith, plus The Unreal Housewives of Santa Fe.

These local artists perform in the spirit of legendary vaudeville stars like Judy Garland, Rudy Vallee, Walter Pidgeon, and Rita Hayworth—all of whom performed at The Lensic after it first opened in 1931 as a vaudeville venue and movie palace.

The all-new production, like summer 2018’s popular “Vaudeville at The Lensic,” is created and directed by Ron Bloomberg and produced by Linda Krull. David Geist serves as music director, with set design by Meg Hachmann.
