ORDER EXTENDING CERTAIN DEADLINES
PROPERTY TAX DIVISION
STATE ASSESSED PROPERTIES BUREAU,
STATE OF NEW MEXICO
Pursuant to my authority under Section 7-38-85 NMSA 1978, I hereby extend the following deadline found in Section 7-38-20(B) of the Property Tax Code with respect to the 2026-tax year only:
1) The deadline to allocate and certify valuations to county assessors is extended from June 1, 2026 to June 8, 2026.
2) Therefore, County Assessor’s deadline to allocate and certify valuations to the Property Tax Division is extended from June 15, 2026 to June 22, 2026.
