Notice is hereby given that the Los Alamos County Planning and Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, beginning at 5:30PM, via Zoom, 1000 Central Avenue, Los Alamos, New Mexico. The format will used to comply with the New Mexico Department of Health’s public emergency order governing mass gathering because of COVID-19. Public in-person attendance will not be allowed. Members of the public can view the agenda and live stream the meeting using this link: Interested parties are asked to email their public comments to in advance and include the words “Public Comment” in the subject line. Comments will be read into the record. A copy of the complete agenda is available at least 72-hours prior for public inspection during regular business hours of 8am-5pm, within the Municipal Building lobby at 1000 Central Ave.

Sharon Seitz, dba Ponderosa Montessori School, is requesting a Special Use Permit to continue the operation of a private school at 302 Rover Blvd. Approval of this request would supersede 87-SUP-03 to increase the number of allowed students from 12 to 35. The property, RM 064, is within the Rover Manor Subdivision and is zoned Single-Family Residential (R-1-10).
