2025 REGULAR LOCAL ELECTION NOTICE
Pursuant to the election code Section 1-11-1, NMSA 1978, I, Michael D. Redondo, County Clerk of Los Alamos County, by virtue of the authority vested in me, do hereby issue the following election notice:
That a Regular Local Election is called to be held throughout the State of New Mexico and in each county and precinct thereof on November 4, 2025; and
That a Regular Local Election shall be a nonpartisan election, and the names of all candidates shall be listed on the ballot with no party or slate designation; and
That a Regular Local Election shall be held to elect qualified persons to membership on a local governing body and, where applicable, to elect municipal officers for the following offices:

The last day the County Clerk can mail a ballot is Wednesday, October 21, 2025. All absentee ballots must be physically accepted in the County Clerk’s Office no later than 7:00 p.m., Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.

VOTER REGISTRATION
Pursuant to NMSA 1-4-8A, to participate in an election, the deadline to register to vote or update an existing voter registration is twenty-eight days prior to that election (Tuesday, October 7, 2025). However, in addition, pursuant to NMSA 1-4-5.7B, during a statewide election, a qualified elector may register to vote or update an existing certificate of registration in-person immediately prior to voting in the election at any polling place (vote center) throughout early voting and on Election Day beginning on the twenty-eighth day Tuesday, October 7, 2025 through Friday, October 17, 2025, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 18, 2025 through Saturday, November 1, 2025, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Election Day 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (Closed on Sundays and Monday, October 13, 2025)

REGISTRO DE VOTER
De conformidad con NMSA 1-4-8A para participar en una elección, la fecha límite para registrarse para votar o actualizar un registro de votante existente es veintiocho días antes de esa elección (martes 7 de octubre de 2025). Sin embargo, además, de conformidad con NMSA 1-4-5.7B, durante una elección estatal, un elector calificado puede registrarse para votar o actualizar un certificado de registro existente en persona inmediatamente antes de votar en la elección en cualquier lugar de votación (centro de votación) durante la votación anticipada y el Día de las Elecciones a partir del vigésimo octavo día del martes 7 de octubre de 2025 hasta el viernes, 17 de octubre de 2025, de 8:00 a. m. a 5:00 p. m. y del sábado 18 de octubre de 2025 al sábado 1 de noviembre de 2025, de 8:00 a. m. a 6:00 p. m. y el día de las elecciones de 7:00 a. m. a 7:00 p. m.
