DCA News:

Join us 1-4 p.m. Oct. 12 at Coronado Historic Site as we fire up the outdoor adobe oven to make roasted corn the traditional Pueblo way. Randy Tenorio (Santo Domingo) will demonstrate how to roast corn in the horno by sealing the oven door with adobe bricks and mud. Visitors will be able to taste the corn at the end of the program.

This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, Tribal members, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, and FCJHS and MNMF members.

This program offers visitors an opportunity to learn the traditions of the people who once lived in the ancient Kuaua Pueblo.
