Leadership Los Alamos News:
Leadership Los Alamos is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 class.
Leadership Los Alamos was founded in 2003 to identify current and emerging leaders in the Los Alamos area, enhance their leadership skills, and deepen their knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing our community.
Leadership Los Alamos is dedicated to the development of informed leaders who understand issues, define problems, develop solutions, and achieve positions of higher responsibility in Los Alamos. To date, the program has graduated more than 300 leaders.
The program is comprised of nine sessions, one each month between September and May, each of which has a specific focus.
The tentative schedule for the upcoming year is:
- Sept 21-22 – Orientation;
- October 18 – Community Organizations;
- November 15 – Youth;
- December 13 – Local Government;
- January 10 – Education;
- February 7 – Culture;
- March 13 – Economic Development;
- April 17 – Environment; and
- May 15 – Closing Session/Graduation.
