Leadership Los Alamos has announced Jasmine Stephens as its new Board Chair and Martha Katko as Co-Chair for 2026.
Further, Carmen Kramer has graciously accepted her unanimous election as Board Chair for the program year 2026-2027.
Leadership Los Alamos, a 501(c)3 in its 23rd year of service in providing development, networking and support for today’s and tomorrow’s community leaders, is excited for all the opportunities that its new program chairs will bring.
Leadership Los Alamos provides a unique opportunity for individuals who live or work in Los Alamos County to broaden their understanding of our community and enhance the quality of their leadership.

Leadership Los Alamos is committed to providing comprehensive community, leadership, and development training so participants can grow in their knowledge and skills while investing their skills back into the community.
How does the program work?
Participants commit to attending a two-day program orientation in September and then monthly, full-day sessions until graduation in May. These sessions focus on key community issues and topics, and participants have a chance to deepen their understanding of Los Alamos and develop the knowledge and skills needed for community stewardship. The mission of Leadership Los Alamos is to develop and empower a diverse network of current and emerging leaders within the Los Alamos community. We achieve this by providing experiential learning opportunities to observe, discuss, and act on leadership principles, foster self-awareness and effective communication skills, cultivate collaborative teamwork, and instill the values of servant leadership and community engagement. Our goal is to strengthen workplace culture and equip individuals with the tools to make a lasting, positive impact on our shared home.
