Lazuli Bunting Spotted Foraging In White Rock

A Lazuli Bunting is spotted foraging for food recently in White Rock. Lazuli Buntings forage mainly on the ground, but also up in low growth. It may bend grass stalks down to the ground to eat the seeds from them and sometimes takes insects from foliage while hovering. Source: www.audubon.org. Photo by Nancy Ann Hibbs
