By Sancre Productions:
The 2023 Los Alamos Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe will bring in a Las Cruces band that performed in 2021 in the COVID-19-Shortened season in White Rock.
There were not many attendees due to the pandemic, but the people who did show up had a blast and saw just how talented this band was with their originals and awesome covers. Come on out on Friday for the FREE show!
Across the sun-drawn sands of the Southwest, a group of modern-day troubadours has formed. By combining alternative country influences with dashes of folk, Americana and Jazz, Dusty Low has created a sound that is both familiar and surprisingly fresh.
Dusty Low, the third collaboration of the Sullivan brothers, has brought their
Folk-Rock/Americana roots to fruition. The Sullivans have been sharing their original music nationally and internationally since 2007. Jesse leads the group on vocals and guitar. Danny sings back-ups as well as holding down the beat on the drums. Sam adds trumpet and harmonica licks and contributes on vocals, completing the Sulli Bros three-part harmony. In 2016 the boys were joined by longtime friend Adam Trzyna on bass, guitar, and vocals. Dusty Low is currently working on their fourth studio album which they plan to release early next year.
Concert opener, The Band Fire for the People, is an instrumental band based in Santa Fe with backgrounds in jazz, rock and folk, guitarists Evan Kottle and Tony Burling us a unique sense of songwriting that includes interwoven guitar melodies and heavy rock anthems. It’s all grounded by Mike Peterson on bass and Dave Wayne on drums.
