To the Community of Los Alamos,

The Los Alamos Public School Foundation exists to raise funds to promote innovative learning in each of the seven public schools in Los Alamos.

We believe that our children are our future and that a quality education is critical to prepare them for an increasingly complex workplace and world.

The Foundation supports and invests in a successful future for all LAPS students through grants and programs.

Great Conversations, our signature fundraiser event held April 22 at LAHS, was a huge success.

The fabulous food and the terrific speakers make this annual event one not to be missed.

Mark your calendars for April 2013! We want to acknowledge our gratitude to the following for their generous support to our public schools: Los Alamos National Security, LLC., Los Alamos Medical Center, Los Alamos National Bank, Centennial Contractors, Inc., Laurie Gallegos, Attorney-at-Law, SAX Insurance Agency, Neptune & Company, Blue Window Bistro, KRSN, Hot Rocks Java Café/Film Festival at Home, Coca Cola Bottling Company of Santa Fe, and 13 outstanding speakers who shared their expertise, as well as numerous individuals who made anonymous donations.

This list would not be complete; however, without thanking the students from Los Alamos Youth Leadership, National Honor Society and Key Club who generously offered to set up, take down, unpack, repack, wash dishes, serve dessert, and lug heavy trays up and down the hallway … the day after prom. Remarkable students!
