LAPS Seeks Public Feedback On 2023-24 School Calendar

LAPS News:

Los Alamos Public Schools is working to develop a calendar for the upcoming school year. LAPS knows  that the school calendar impacts the community and would appreciate the community’s feedback.

Here is a comparison of the three types of calendars. All three calendars continue with early release for elementary schools each Wednesday. Respondents may rank the calendar choices and provide comments here.

The public is invited to attend a community input and information session about the LAPS budget for the upcoming fiscal year and the 2023-2024 School Calendar 5:30-7 p.m. Monday, March 20. Click here for the meeting link.

The proposed 2023-2024 calendar will be presented to the school board at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 23. The budget will be presented to the School Board during the April 18 School Board meeting. It will then be sent to the New Mexico Public Education Department for state approval.
