Comments from volunteers:
… One girl asked me to watch the game she designed at the end of Minecraft. It was Great! Very detailed with a lot of steps. I was very impressed! All in all, I thought it went really well and I
can’t wait to do it again tomorrow! –Starlyn
Oh my gosh – what an awesome experience today! These kids were so much fun! They didn’t want to quit at the end! Thanks, David, for letting me be a part of this … awesome!! –Lisa
Thanks for organizing this! I had a great time and my daughter likes it so much that she’s been going to that website on her iPad at home to keep “playing” Hour of Code. –Cristie
I definitely enjoyed the experience, and so did most of the students. They were engaged the whole time and were quite respectful. I’m just an intern, so I won’t be back for next year;
however I would gladly help out again if I do return. –Loren
Thanks to you both for organizing and supporting the program. It is one of my favorite volunteer projects! Watching the fun and learning is so energizing! Especially the K classes. I
now know that computer work is not as sedentary as I once believed 🙂 –Beth
