Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) is rounding up all incoming kindergarten students for the Kindergarten Roundup hosted at each elementary school starting at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10.

At the Roundup, prospective students and families will get to meet kindergarten teachers, principals, school nurses, school counselors and other key school personnel and ask questions about kindergarten. 

Children who will turn five by Sept. 1, 2024 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year, and are invited to attend Kindergarten Roundup with their parents. This is an opportunity for families to get an idea of what to expect in kindergarten.
