Los Alamos Public Schools across the district have already begun hosting Back-to-School nights (virtual open houses) to welcome parents to the new school year.
While this is not the same as in past years when parents walked the halls of each school where their students attended, it will still be informative and fun.
Aspen and Barranca Mesa Elementary Schools held their Back-to-School nights for parents earlier in the week.
The Los Alamos Middle School will host their Back to School night starting at 5:30 p.m. today.
Each school will send out a meeting link to parents so remember to check your email. Look in your spam or other folders if the message is not appearing in your inbox.
Parents are asked to turn off microphones during the virtual open house. If the teacher loses the connection, please wait five minutes to allow time for the teacher to reconnect. Parents also are reminded to exit the meeting at the end of the session.
