LAPD Assists Protesters Crossing Diamond Intersection

Scene of the line of protesters Thursday marching along Canyon Road on their way back to the Ashley Pond Pavilion. The protest drew nearly 300 individuals who assembled to speak out against racism. Los Alamos High School students comprised A majority of the protesters. They chanted and marched to the overpass on Diamond Drive and back to the pond; cleaning up after themselves before quietly dispersing. where they expressed their belief that ‘Black Lives Matter’. They plan to resume their protest again at 1 p.m. Saturday and invited everyone to come who will support the cause or wishes to discuss the issues. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
