How about an email scam that accuses you of watching porn, claims to have hijacked your computer, recorded you watching said porn, and states that unless you send them Bitcoins within a certain time, they will send the videos of you to all of your contacts.
Yeah, this is certainly more annoying than your standard email spam. This entire set up is a well-known scam known as the “sextortion” email spam.

Riders arrive Saturday morning in the parking lot at the Knights of Columbus Hall at 401 Trinity Dr. for the start of the Ride to the Springs, a benefit ride for La Cueva teen Wyatt Taylor seriously injured in a RTV accident in 2017. The effort raised more than $11,702 to help offset reconstructive procedures Taylor is facing and support the Catholic church in Jemez Springs. WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Sen. Tom Udall (D-N.M), senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, voted to advance key legislation to provide strong funding for New Mexico’s national labs, technology transfer efforts, environmental clean-up projects, the Waste Isolation Pilot Program (WIPP), and Tribal energy programs throughout the state.
