LANL News:The public can learn about services offered by Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Employee Assistance Program at three, free informational sessions at the Bradbury Science Museum in downtown Los Alamos.
The one-hour, interactive presentations are scheduled 9-10 a.m. Sept. 16, Sept. 23 and Oct. 21 and open to Laboratory employees and the public. Attendees also will have the opportunity to ask questions.
The presentations cover:
- assistance offered through EAP;
- referrals to outside providers;
- community resources;
- concerns about confidentiality;
- impact of counseling on security clearances; and
- myths about the EAP.
