LANL Foundation Holiday Wishes & Thanks To Community

LANL Foundation

As we celebrate the holiday season, we want to say thank you to our wonderful community.

Your generosity has empowered us to provide $1.3 million in scholarships, over $1.3 million in educational grants and program supports for K-12 school systems, $150,000 in stipends for grandparents and kin raising children, over $2 million in pooled funding to support youth internships, work-based learning, and youth leadership, over $300,000 for on-the-ground support for Tribal home visiting, a network to support early childhood education and care across Northern New Mexico and more throughout 2025.

We supported more than one hundred educators to pursue a National Board Certificate, cultivated a teacher leader fellowship, partnered with fantastic, like-minded foundations to lift up school leadership for educational improvement, and celebrated a cohort of school leaders focused on integrating social-emotional learning across their systems. We also provided over twenty learning opportunities for families and providers to embrace best practices in caregiving, along with support for young parents to pursue long-term career opportunities.

This year we were privileged to support the Public Education Department in reaching out to communities across the State to cultivate voice and input for the Martinez/Yazzie Remedial Action Plan. Our staff drove across the Land of Enchantment to connect with parents, students, community members, and leaders, listening and learning about the opportunities to support our schools and classrooms. We have also partnered with the Department of Workforce Solutions, Early Childhood Education and Care Department, and Department of Aging and Long-term Services to center the students and families most in need of support across our programming.

Finally, in celebration, our Board and staff completed a year of learning culminating with a new Strategic Map for 2026-2030. Our hope, work, and intention are grounded in a firm multi-generational approach that lifts up public education, economic and social mobility, and place.

We are honored to have you by our side and look forward to an even greater impact in the years ahead.

May your season be blessed.
