COUNTY News:

Temporary lane closures of about 20 minutes affecting westbound traffic are scheduled 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 on Trinity Drive.

The Los Alamos County Information Management Division staff will conduct routine inspections of fiber optics infrastructure in vaults within the roadway between Knecht Street and 20th Street.

Motorists can expect brief lane closures:

• First, crews will drop the lane adjacent to the sidewalk east of the Trinity/Knecht intersection;
• Subsequently, they will move to the center lane between Knecht and 15th: and
• Return to the lane adjacent to the sidewalk west of the Trinity/15th intersection.

Traffic control devices will be erected around crews and a safety vehicle on scene to move traffic around the inspection site.

Motorists should expect minimal delays and are reminded to use caution when driving in the area.
