LANB Hires Stan Sluder As Chief Lending Officer

Los Alamos National Bank (LANB) is pleased to announce the hiring of Stan Sluder as Chief Lending Officer effective immediately.

Sluder brings more than 20 years of financial industry expertise. His responsibilities include leading the commercial lending team and providing loan production oversight, as well as overseeing the company’s individual lenders and the overall efficiency of the lending process.

“Stan has a proven track record of effective leadership and combines a deep understanding of the banking industry’s regulatory environment with keen business acumen,” LANB CEO John Gulas said. “Stan’s expertise in commercial and residential lending will benefit LANB and help solidify our standing as one of New Mexico’s largest community banks. We are happy to welcome him to our team.”

Sluder is well versed in all aspects of the retail banking industry and has represented major banking entities, such as Bank of America and most recently, Peoples Bank in New Mexico, where he recently served as the Regional President. He graduated from New Mexico State University and has experience as a small business owner.

An active member of the Albuquerque community, Sluder is involved with various organizations in Northern New Mexico, including Boys Scouts of America. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Archdiocese of the Santa Fe Catholic Foundation.
