LAMS Deems Threat Rumors To Be Unfounded

LAPS News:

Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) reports that earlier today, Los Alamos Middle School (LAMS) staff was made aware of rumors about threats to the school.

The LAMS School Resource Officer, along with LAMS administration, promptly investigated and found no credible threat. Classes continued with no interruptions.

As a reminder, students are encouraged to use the “Say Something” anonymous reporting app to report any unsafe behaviors. The app is installed on all student Chromebooks for easy accessibility.

In addition, there are several ways to report any public safety issue. Families and students may email safety concerns to safety@laschools.net. This email is monitored during school hours, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The See Something/Say Something Anonymous Reporting System enables students to anonymously report an issue 24/7/365 through an app, hotline or website when they see a classmate who is at risk of harming themselves or others.
