LAMS Athletes Compete In West Las Vegas Meet

LAMS News:

Congratulations to the Los Alamos Middle School Track and Field Team for competing in the West Las Vegas Invitational Track Meet.

 
With a small squad of only 21 over Spring Break, the boys team earned a dominating first place overall.
 
The girls team of 27 took home second place.
 
Individual first places went to Elijah Velasquez for the 800 M, 100 Hurdles, and Triple Jump. Jevon Montoya took first in the 1600. The boys 800 M Sprint Medley team of James Beauparlant, Nic Storey, Jevon Montyoa, and Elijah Velasquez also took first.
 
Girls first place winners were Alissia Haagenstad in the 400 M, Amy Littleton in the High Jump, and Avery Koski in the 200 M.
 

The  next meet is the LAMS Home Meet at the middle school track at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15.
