Due to a recent decision by a local medical clinic to terminate its agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) of New Mexico, Los Alamos Medical Center (LAMC) has received numerous inquiries about the hospital’s status with the insurance company.

LAMC wants the community to know that the hospital remains in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico.

There is absolutely no change to any BCBS insurance coverage as it relates to hospital or emergency room care, hospital stays, or visits to any hospital services such as the lab or diagnostic imaging. This also does not affect care provided by any physicians who are employed by LAMC.
