Los Alamos Little Theatre members gathered for a work party Saturday, July 14 to perform maintenance on the grounds around the Performing Arts Center. LALT manages the PAC for Los Alamos County and is responsible for upkeep on some aspects of the building and grounds. The LALT team trimmed trees, pulled weeds, laid down wire mesh to prevent skunks from burrowing under the building, and replaced 16 old, degraded railroad ties that were part of the landscaping. LALT Board member Dave Olivas organized the work party and his wife, Mary Lou, provided lunch for the volunteer workers. LALT is a 501(c)3 organization that produces five theatrical productions each season and supports other activities to provide the local community experiences in the dramatic arts. Courtesy photo
