The Los Alamos High School (LAHS) Hilltoppers shined this past weekend at the Pojoaque Girls Invitational finishing second among tough competition.
“The Hilltoppers wrestled tough the past two days at the Pojoaque Invitational!” Head Coach Emily Tew said. “Many of the girls made massive adjustments from day 1 to day 2 to avenge losses which helped the ladies come in second place as a team this weekend. Coach Stone and I are proud of these girls and all of their hard work. Things are looking good as we head to the State Qualifying tournament in Farmington this weekend. GO Hilltoppers!”

“The Hilltoppers also faced some tough competition from Albuquerque area schools during the Atrisco Heritage Tournament on Friday, Jan. 20,” Tew said. “They fought hard and made the needed adjustments.”
