Both the Boys and Girls Los Alamos High School Hilltopper Track & Field teams were crowned 2025 District Champions on an intermittently rainy evening last Friday at Moriarty High School. The Boys finished ahead of Taos, 198-111, and the Girls bested Moriarty, 206-119.
Although athletes can qualify for next weekend’s State Championship based on meeting a performance standard, like at any meet, they can also qualify by finishing first or second in their event at the District Championship. Thus, many ’Topper athletes punched their ticket to State at this meet.
