SPORT News:
The ‘Topper softball team dropped a non-district game to the Moriarty Pintos Thursday at Overlook Park in White Rock.
The Pintos are a 4A school and losing to a 4A school when you are a 5A school does not look good on your resume, especially with the state competition just around the corner. However, the ‘Toppers are 8-1 in district play and 14-8 overall and are at the top of the charts.
The next games are very important especially the game against Espanola at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Overlook Park.
