LAHS Rotary Interact Club News:

The Los Alamos High School Rotary Interact club would like to thank Los Alamos for the huge turnout at their carwash last Saturday and for all the donations they received.

They were able to raise more than $1,000, which will go toward buying a shelter box for earthquake relief in partnering with the ShelterBox project.

This organization provides emergency aid for people all around the world who have been impacted by natural disasters, COVID-19, and more. Check out their website to learn more about their mission and how you can help today!

Los Alamos High School Rotary Interact club would especially like to thank everyone at the Los Alamos Rotary Interact Club and Ms. Pannell for helping them make this project a success; Ms. Batha and Ms. Ovaska for sponsoring the club; and for their president and vice president, Yunseo Kim and Malia Hanawalt, for organizing the carwash.

Even though everyone is going through more challenging times, they are so glad that our community was able to come together and help others.

Yunseo Kim adds that, “We are incredibly grateful for the support Interact has received from the community! This could not have been done without everyone’s generous contributions, and we are so thankful that these donations can help displaced families find security from unsafe environments.”
