LAHS NJROTC News:

The Los Alamos High School NJROTC Air Rifle Team competed in the Major Bill Barker New Mexico State Championship Air Rifle Match at West Mesa High School Saturday, Nov. 13, in Albuquerque.

“The Air Rifle Team had a successful competition in Albuquerque,” NJROTC Chief Aron Ayers said. “This was the Unit’s first ‘shoulder to shoulder’ match and first competition in approximately two years.  The cadets of Topper Company have been eager to get back in the fight and compete with other units from around the state. They represented LAHS and Los Alamos well. We’re proud of them.”

Topper Company will be heading to Del Norte High School in Albuquerque this Saturday to compete in the 27th Annual Duke City Invitational Drill Meet.

They will see competition in color guard, unarmed regulation drill and physical training.

“This will be our first full-scale competition in quite a while” Chief Ayers said. “These cadets are ready to show what they’re capable of. We’re all looking forward to it.”
