BUSINESS News:

Los Alamos High School graduate Jennifer Martin has much to celebrate. Not only is her company, Xynergy, Inc. marking its 20th anniversary, but it is opening its third location in Taos Monday.

Martin graduated from LAHS in 1988, founded Xynergy in 1994 and her company built the Intranet for Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2006 to 2009, she said.

Xynergy is a New Mexico-based web design and online marketing firm with offices in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The new Taos office is at 201 Camino de la Merced, Suite C1 – in the same Internet and media hub as Brownrice Hosting and TaosNet.

“Taos is a beautiful and culturally robust community. I am so pleased to have two highly skilled Taosnos (residents of Taos) join our team and I am looking forward to working with more local talent as we grow,” Martin said.

The move coincides with the restructuring of long-time Taos design and marketing firm, Webb Design, Inc.

“Janet Webb invited me to consider a Taos presence as she downsizes her 33-year-old company to concentrate on a single website,” Martin said. “That entrée coupled with growth this past year made it clear that it was the perfect time for Xynergy to expand to Taos.”

What is lesser known is that Martin and Webb’s connection spans nearly 20 years. The two first worked together in 1995 when Webb hired Martin to build Webb Design, Inc.’s first client website for Taos Ski Valley.

Xynergy’s core services include website design, web application development, SEO, Social Media, strategic online marketing research and professional website management. Since its founding, Xynergy’s primary mission has been to strive for high-quality, visually pleasing, easy-to-navigate websites using engaging technologies and tools which help businesses grow a strong presence online.  The expansion will allow Xynergy to provide more immediate professional services to their clients in Northern New Mexico and Southern Colorado.
