SPORTS News:

STILLWATER, Okla. – Los Alamos High School graduate Chase Ealey shined as the Oklahoma State University Track and Field program wrapped up a busy weekend of competition.

The OSU athlete set a school record and personal record Saturday during meets in Texas and Arkansas.

Ealey took second place in the women’s shot put competition at the Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin, Texas. Her first throw of 16.84m broke the school record that she set at last week’s Tulsa Duels by a foot and kept her in first place until the fifth round.

“Ealey had another great meet,” Baumann said in a news report. “She broke another school record and set a new outdoor PR – I think she’s got more in her.”
