LAHS Golfers Attend Air Force Academy Camp

SPORTS News:

During the week of June 17 LAHS woman’s golf team senior co-captain, Emma Haines and freshman, Jennifer Necker, attended the US Air Force Academy Golf Camp.

The girls were among only seven girls who attended the camp along with more than 60 boys. Participants came from across the country and ranged in age from 10 to 17. Haines and Necker spent the week working on various golf skills and played at least nine holes every day.

The week ended Friday with Emma Haines being named “Camper of the Week” for her fun-loving attitude and attention to the game. Both girls are looking forward to applying their honed skills this fall when the LAHS women’s golf team takes to the links.
