One in eight American women—more than a quarter of a million women and men this year—will likely develop breast cancer.

The Los Alamos High School Girls Soccer Program aims to help halt this deadly disease through their annual Breast Cancer Awareness month fundraiser.

Teams are collecting donations and hosting halftime penalty kick fundraising shootouts at boys’ and girls’ home games Saturday, Oct. 19 at Sullivan Field.

No registration is required for shootout participation—just show up and shoot against our Topper goalkeepers for $5 per shot.

Funds are tax deductible and will be donated to METAvivor, the only organization solely funding Stage 4 (metastasized to spread tumors throughout the body), peer-reviewed breast cancer research and treatment. A quarter of patients develop metastatic breast cancer, and it is not currently curable.

Please come support life-saving research and the Toppers while having some fun on the field!
