LADOC News:

This spring Los Alamos Dog Obedience Club (LADOC) has been offering a special class called the paRENT Free Club or “RENT” free club for children.

Children attend this class with their dogs and without their parents. Local youth were instructed in responsible dog ownership and how to train their dogs in the class especially designed for them. The class included basic obedience instruction and some rally and agility exercises.

Parents of youth attending the paRENT Free Club were invited to the last class, held Saturday, May 4 to see a demonstration of what their child and dog learned each week.

The paRENT Free Club is offered free of charge by LADOC as a community service. LADOC will offer another session of the paRENT Free Club starting in the fall.

Interested youth and parents should email instructor Julie Bremser at 3divers@newmexico.com for more information and to be included on the Spring 2013 class announcement.
