The Los Alamos Community Foundation (LACF) announced that, thanks to generous donors and endowment funds, 18 community nonprofit partners will receive more than $81,000 in combined funding in 2025.
This amount is nearly double the total given in 2024, due to contributions from individuals, the Anchorum Health Foundation, Anderson Charitable Foundation, and the Enterprise Bank & Trust Community Endowment Fund.
“We are thankful to generous donors who contribute to LACF endowment funds,” LACF Executive Director Elizabeth Martineau said. “Your donation is invested to provide a funding stream that benefits local nonprofits every year. It is a gift that will be giving back to our community for many years to come.”
Grant committee members from the community and the LACF board evaluated each application to determine funding.
“These grants reflect the Foundation’s deep commitment to strengthening nonprofits so that they are better able to fulfill their mission,” LACF President Linda Daly said. “We congratulate our grant recipients and look forward to partnering with them to serve our neighbors. They are making a difference here at home.”
