LACDC Honors Longtime Los Alamos Businessman Jim Hall

Los Alamos businessman Jim Hall, center, is honored with a special Nambé gift this morning at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Central Park Square, by Los Alamos Commerce and Development Corporation (LACDC) Board President Bill Wadt, left, and LACDC Executive Director Lauren McDaniel for his 11 years of dedicated service to the organization. Hall recently stepped down from his position as president of the LACDC because he is moving with his wife, longtime educator Janet Hall, to southern New Mexico to be near their children and grandchildren. The couple moved to Los Alamos in 1976 and since that time Jim worked in various capacities at Los Alamos National Laboratory including 11 years as Division Leader. He also served in the Governor’s Cabinet as Secretary of the State’s IT Department. His local community service includes 12 years on the school board as well as time as a County Councilor and State Representative. Photo by Carol A. Clark/ladailypost.com
