LAAC News:

Los Alamos will see the return of the Galisteo String Quartet to the Los Alamos Arts Council Brown Bag series at noon Wednesday at Fuller Lodge.

The Galisteo String Quartet performed in the Brown Bag series in October 2018 and wowed the crowd with their performance.

The members of The Galisteo String Quartet: Janet Cordova and Julanna Gilbert (violins), Kathleen Neher (viola) and Robert Coombe (cello), live in the Santa Fe/Los Alamos area. They have played with various musical groups for many years and met through mutual musical friends. They have been playing and performing together in Santa Fe and Los Alamos for two years.

This year, the Galisteo String Quartet will perform music from Felix Mendelssohn and Erwin Schulhoff. The community is invited to come during their lunch hour, bring a sack lunch, and enjoy a superb performance.

The show is free to the public.
