La Vista Church Of The Nazarene Helps Kids Get Outside

LVCN News:

After being cooped up for distance learning, La Vista Church of the Nazarene wants to help kids get outdoors in a socially-distanced way.

Kids can sign up for an appointment between 10 a.m. and noon, June 6 to get their bikes tuned up for summer; labor, inner tubes and chains are all free for kids, and masked bike mechanics will be stationed greater than 6 feet apart at La Vista Church, 15 Grand Canyon Dr. in White Rock.

To ensure proper social distancing, appointments must be made by contacting kids@lavistanaz.org. When requesting an appointment, include an estimate of what the bike needs (inner tube, chains, more extensive work).

See which appointments are still available on this sheet: link.

This is a free event, but donations will be accepted benefiting Biking Forward, an organization supplying utility bikes to communities in Malawi. Find out more at https://www.msnaz.org/biking-forward
