The Los Alamos Hockey Association is proud to announce the inaugural Los Alamos Winter Rock Festival, taking place at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 26 at Duane Smith Auditorium.
This exciting community event will bring together live music, local vendors, and hockey fans in support of the Los Alamos youth hockey program. Doors open early at 6 p.m. for the vendor fair. More than a dozen vendors will be on site offering local crafts, hockey-themed merchandise, and exclusive festival apparel. Doors for the show open at 6:00 p.m.
The evening’s concert will feature performances by three high-energy bands: Kiss My Chaos, Professor Penguin, and Baggage Claim. Adding to the festivities, the newly unveiled mascot from Rio Rancho’s new ECHL hockey team, the Goatheads, will make a special appearance.
All proceeds from the Los Alamos Winter Rock Festival will directly benefit the youth hockey program, helping to support player development and community engagement through sport. Tickets are available in advance through HoldMyTicket and will also be sold at the door. Official festival T-shirts will be available for purchase.
The Los Alamos Winter Rock Festival is the first in what is planned to be an annual event, created to promote local musicians and artists while supporting local organizations and charities. The festival is envisioned as the winter counterpart to Los Alamos’ popular Friday night summer concert series.
For more information and ticket purchases, visit HoldMyTicket or attend in person on February 26.
This event is sponsored by Hand Precision Machining, Blue Sparrow Beauty & Aesthetics, Los Alamos Schools Credit Union, Tetra Echelon Group, LLC, and Excelligent, LLC.
