Kristin Henderson shows her delight after filing for a seat on the University of New Mexico-Los Alamos (UNM-LA) Advisory Board this afternoon in the Municipal Building. Henderson said she wants to serve on the advisory board because ‘UNM is an important asset to Los Alamos.’  She added, ‘I think we want to have a good partnership between the college and the community.’ This partnership includes offering dual credits and offering continuing education to professionals and education to the general public, she said. ‘I would like to offer to be a reasonable voice on the board,’ she said.
