Katie Watson of the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) attended Kiwanis April 21 for a special event. Linda Daly of the Kiwanis Boys and Girls Committee, right, and Kiwanis President Steve Boerigter presented Watson with a $1,000 check for PEEC. The money will support a morning program called ‘Nature Playtimes’ that should draw children and their family members to the new Nature Center at 2600 Canyon Road this summer.
