The K-Kids organization at Pinon Elementary School raised $400 for the Kiwanis African Library Project. According to Pinon K-Kids Faculty Advisor Jodi Hughes, the kids made and sold many items such as rubber band bracelets, earrings and charms. The money will be used to help ship donated books, collected earlier in the year, to schools in Africa.
