Kiwanis Club Presents Scholarship to Dallin Parker

The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Dallin Parker with an educational scholarship recently. Parker will attend Brigham Young University in Utah to study nursing. From left, Parker’s mother Marsha Parker, his father Robert Parker, Dallin Parker and Kiwanis Club Vice President Karen Kendall. Parker was selected because of his active involvement in the community through Boy Scouts of America, his church and National Honor Society, as well as helping the disabled and young. Kiwanis meets each Tuesday at noon in Kelly Hall at Trinity on the Hill Church. Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects.
