The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Paulina Majewska with a scholarship recently. Paulina will be attending the University of New Mexico and will study pre-med biology. Paulina was selected because of her strong participation in Key Club and she was elected club treasurer during her senior year. In addition, she was the president of National Honor Society, volunteered at Los Alamos Medical Center and was communications captain for the Speech and Debate Team. Kiwanis meets each Tuesday at noon at Trinity on the Hill Church in Kelly Hall. Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects.
